LTC Worx 2.0 released

London, Washington DC. 18 May, 2010. Today, LTC announced the release of version 2.0 of LTC Worx, its flagship business management solution that handles project management tasks and other business-related functions for an integrated, end-to-end approach to all communication tasks.

LTC Worx helps organisations with multilingual needs to save time and money and shorten their time-to-market by helping them to manage their entire workflow, from authoring through to publishing via translation/localisation, desktop publishing, and any other tasks required in the multilingual production chain. The centralisation and automation of workflows, administrative tasks, collaboration and important business data such as resource and financial information allows global players, small and medium sized enterprises and language service providers to save money, improve productivity and brand messaging through a dramatic increase in efficiency.

Key features of version 2.0 include an even greater degree of customisability, more integration with tools such as SDL Trados, Kilgray MemoQ and the Across Language Server, improved collaboration functionality, team collaboration to assign work to a group of specialists, customer relationship management (CRM) features, and improved usability and efficiency.

“We are very excited about this milestone release,” says Philip McConnell, Director of Development, “It introduces a number of new features such as tighter integration with linguistic tools, a customisable client portal, and a new, open file manager. LTC Worx has matured nicely”, he continues, “and thanks to the feedback from early adopters we have been able to further streamline processes and significantly increase user-friendliness.”
